About
Astrology Deep is for people who want to go a little further than their star sign. We publish clear, in-depth guides to astrology and the traditions around it, and we build free tools that do the calculations for you.
What you will find here
- Daily horoscopes for all twelve signs, worked out from where the Moon and planets actually are each day
- A birth chart calculator that finds your Sun, Moon and rising sign and places every planet in its sign and house
- A compatibility calculator for every pair of signs
- Guides to the zodiac signs, love and compatibility, birth charts, tarot, numerology, crystals and spiritual practice
- Astrology classics: readable introductions to historical texts such as Ptolemy’s Tetrabiblos
How we work
Our tools run entirely in your browser using the open-source Astronomy Engine library, so the details you enter are never sent to us. Our horoscopes follow the solar-house method described on the daily horoscope page, and the same sign always gets the same reading on the same day.
We treat astrology as a symbolic language for reflection, not as a science or a way to predict events. Nothing on this site is a substitute for medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. If you spot an error, please let us know.
Astrology Deep is written and maintained by a small team of astrology writers and enthusiasts.
